After a brief hiatus during the end of August and beginning of September, Broadcast returns to its regular bi-weekly schedule with the challenging topic about making tough decisions. How many times in life do we find ourselves faced with a decision that doesn't seem to have any clear and easy answer? How about those times when you try to think about what God would want you to do when you know it may very well be the exact opposite of widely accepted social norms? Yeah, tough stuff - and we've all been there at one point or another whether we want to admit it or not.

Come out, lose yourself in some powerful worship, and learn about different ways to approach life's tough decisions. As always there will be some great food and an awesome time to hang out before and after Broadcast. Don't miss it!! Have a blessed labor day!!

As always come early, hang out, enjoy some food and refreshments, and sometimes there's even a frisbee being tossed around or a fire outside afterward. Doors open at 630pm, worship begins at 7pm. Be there!!

what is broadcast?

Broadcast is a new worship ministry based out of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church in Bath, Pennsylvania. The service is held every other Sunday, (see full schedule of dates) with worship starting at 7:00pm. Broadcast features a brand new contemporary format most often referred to as "emerging worship". Since this type of worship service is still very new to traditional denominations, it is also very rare. For this reason, Broadcast also aims to serve as much of the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area as possible. Anyone and everyone is welcome at Broadcast - even if you're just checking out what Christianity is all about. This service is aimed at meeting people where they are, providing a real opportunity for authentic worship, and messages that are not only relevant, but engaging and challenging.

This new format offers a totally new experience including: high-energy music ranging from upbeat praise rock to slow, quiet, contemplative acoustic worship; reflective prayer including prayer led by a leader as well as silent, individual prayer time; engaging videos ranging from funny, relaxing videos to deeply powerful and challenging videos; and challenging messages that are both relevant to today's world in which we all live and full of practical ideas for applying faith to daily life as well as difficult life situations. Each piece is specifically geared toward the main theme of each Broadcast in order to present a cohesive message that is meaningful and authentic. Past themes have included Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I have it all together, Holding grudges, Why do bad things happen to good people?, Prayers that God does and does not answer - or does he?, Going through the motions, and many more.

The Broadcast planning team is always looking for ideas about themes and messages that matter to you that you would really like to hear/learn about. So please let them know what you are thinking, submit a theme idea right now using the theme idea submission form.
